Axolotls living with salamanders?

Hello, I've been thinking about getting a Tiger Salamander and wondered if in their aquatic stage they could live with axolotls in the same tank? I know I would have to quarantine the salamander first anyway, but I just wondered if it would work? I've tried to search the site for relevant threads but the words search ignores are 'axolotl' and 'tiger salamander', so no joy there!
Also I'm not sure how long a tiger is in it's aquatic stage, whether it would be worth even trying to house them together as I'd have to have a terrestrial set-up ready for the tiger anyway.

I wouldn't do it. Tiger salamanders are voracious predators, and even a similar-sized axolotl would probably end up as snack food.

Thanks Kaysie, I'll rule out that plan then! I'll just settle for a separate tank altogether! Kerry.
