So I'm looking into getting my first axolotyl after a long time wanting, and I was wondering if they would tolerate CO2 being added to a tank for plants? I'll probably just end up sticking with Flourish Excel, not a gas system, but I have no knowledge on their sensitivity to it. Would love to hear all input available. Thanks! : )

Most fertilisers and plant treatments are not suitable for axies - CO2 is bad for them.

If you're going to have live plants you need to choose ones that don't need heat, too much light and don't need ferts. You can always take plants out and give them a fert bath if needed, but you shouldn't add ferts to an axie tank.
