Hi can any one tell me what i can put in my 2foot tank as ppl say not to put no gravel sand plants real or fake nothing at all so all i see is my axoltol

Do not put gravel in the tank. You can use sand if you want but a bare bottom tank is just fine. you can put plants in there, real or fake. If you go with real ones make sure they will survive in the environment suited for an axolotl tank (cold temps and low light). If you choose fake plants, silk ones are the best or anything that doesnt have a sharp edge or that can be eaten by the axolotl. Axolotls need a place to hide in so you should provide a few good hides for them. I would probably only put one adult axolotl in a 2 foot tank.

Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
