Axoltol very curled gills, please help

Hi there,

My 10 week old juvenile axolotl appears to have very curled gills.
He is in a tub so it is not due to water flow, he is eating and “passing waste” regularly
His temperature is about 15C
Any ideas what may be stressing him?

His gills look completely normal to me in that photo. They arent meant to lay back all the way. My boys perk theirs up like this all the time, especially when they're awake and alert.. As long as theyre not curling over on themselves, its fine.

that’s a relief, I feel a bit silly now.. they just looked really curled to me ?
