I have a baby axie, I've noticed him lying on his side. so i freaked out checked if he's dead . i few nudge and he didnt move... then i nudge him again he swam away and then fall again on the bottom. I have other babies and they are all acting fine, (so it couldnt be the water?)
I make sure to always take out uneaten food. I have a sponge filter going. I separated him yesterday and put some bloodworms in there, and he ate them all. So i thought maybe he was just "playing dead"?
I put him back in with the others, I checked a few times worried. The same thing.
I caught him one time falling from the top of the water to the bottom like it just died. As soon as he hit bottom, no movement.
But he's alive. I dont know what to do.
advice anyone?

What are your parameters -ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, PH and temperature?

When you say 'baby axie' how big/old are you talking? I have found that some larvae that do not yet have all 4 legs have a lousy sense of gravity and lack the stability to stay upright. I have to nudge some of my 1-week larvae several times to check if they are alive or not. Axies can be lazy and unless they percieve a threat or food they may not move much unless they really have to.

Check your water parameters, give him a thorough examination for fungus or injury, and if eveything seems normal I wouldn't worry, it's just one of those things that axies do. Hence the commonly used phrase 'silly lotls'.
