this morning i woke up to my axolotl floating upside down in the tank... but it started swimming again when mum touched it! (except, it didn't shoot off like last time when i accidently touched it, it just floated away) now its sitting on the bottom, not moving much.
i only got him friday afternoon and he was fed a small earthworm last night. what should i do??

Are the water paremeters ok? esp ammonia, nitrite, pH and temp>?

I don't know about the nitrate, but I did have it tested at the pet shop last week for all sorts of things and they didn't have a problem with it. The temperature at the moment is about 22C and has stayed below 25C. There's no ammonia and the pH is at 7.4

the pet shops will say its ok even if there is a prob sometimes, if you get staff that dont know anything that is. we need specific numbers. how long has the tank been set up? if its been setup less than a month im thinking its not cycled and that could be the problem.

if you are worried he may die read around here for info on putting him in the fridge
