I started down my crazy 20 year path of keeping newts with an axolotl! I got an albino one from a biology catalog that my old high school bio teacher let me order from. His name was 'Mr. Fuzzy" and he was quite fond of night crawlers.

They are wonderful pets and I'm sure you'll find a lot of good info here. Best of luck to you in your axolotl keeping!
