Beginning Photography

I have begun trying my eye at artistic composition and general photography. I do not have a DSLR yet and do not edit my photo's ( Mostly because I do not know how) But I would love any feedback.

Your photo's are incredible... I LOVE photography. I would love to get into it but can't at the moment.. Annnd it looks like you live in a pretty neat part of the world

Some of these are from vacation to Red River Gorge ... I do love the variety of plants and such we have here ... And SO many hills

Unfortunately I do not have the money to get into it majorly ... but I may with my tax return * crosses fingers*

Firstly, I would like to congratulate you on your photos - they are superb.

Secondly, a hole in a stone is usually formed by water dripping onto it over several years, they used to be referred to as 'holey stones' or 'hag stones' and were hung on a red cord as a protective amulet. Sorry for this random lecture, I know too much on this subject

That was actually my guess however with where it was I do not know how this could have happened. It was near a creek , No place water could have dripped on it repeatedly like it would need.
