Best filter for axolotl tank?

setting up 20 G tank a yet to be purchased axie. plan to use Dr. Tim’s One & Only and his ammonia. Have API conditioner. reading they are sensitive to water movement. So what’s the best filter? Also looking into a aquarium chiller. A bit intimidating.

I personally use an AquaClear 50 HOB (hang on back) on my 20 long and it works well, nice gentle water movement. I have plants and rocks that buffer the flow a little bit.

Thanks. I use those for sone of my fish tanks. I found 2 pink axies that come with a 30 gallon tank on a stand & a filter. Not sure what kinda filter. Will know tomorrow.

I really like Aquaneat's sponge filters, especially the double ones. I actually go a size up with those since axolotls produce so much waste and you can aim the output at the wall to further diminish the already low flow. They're super easy to set up too.

I like sponge filters too. Not sure if same as brand you mention, will check.

I did, very similar to ones I have. Also use a few HOP and my big tank with a 20 gallon sump below is a whole different thing. Weird spiky balls on top of flat cut to fit foam.
