I see you can make your own decapsulated brine shrimp eggs that will hatch later on - but it seems like I can only find non-hatching dead decapsulated brine shrimp eggs.

Where do I find the best/cheapest source of decapsulated brine shrimp that hatch? I'd love to have a good source!

Is it possible to dry out decapsulated brine shrimp eggs, and then use them much later on (months, etc?) to hatch?

You can buy bottles of decapsulated eggs for hatching called 'Artemia Revolution'. I got them from ebay, but I also founf dome in my LFS.

I believe once the eggs are decapsulated they can't be dried and kept, you need to hatch them within a few weeks.

Are non-decapsulated eggs ok to hatch and feed to axie babies? I feel like I've read that the shells can be dangerous.

You can use them. The empty shells float mostly so you just have to collect the shrimp without getting the shells in them. It's not too hard.

with axolotls would I basically have to keep buying and buying new axolotls to prevent inbred breeding which costs a lot of money??

Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
