My young axie got bit on his foot as I was washing the divider, I have put him in a tub of tank water and put him near the window to keep it cool, what should I do now?

It looks fairly minor, just keep him cool and feed worms. He's big enough for earthworms now.

Keep your eyes open for fungus or bacterial infection, but it should heal on its own.

I feed him worms but ran out so have a supply of blood worms for when I do just wanted to see if he was eating ok

You could add Indian almond leaves to the tank. They have mildly antibacterial and antifungal properties, so may help protect against an infection or fungus growth. A tea bath (instructions are on this site) is also a good idea if you don't have or can't get the Indian almond leaves.

Can you get your axie to eat bloodworms ok? My axie won't look at them. He just scatters them and I spend the next hour collecting them from the bottom of the tank.
