Could my axolotl develop organ failure in the future? I am asking this because my tank has black and white sand. The white sand is very fine and less than 1mm in size. Meanwhile, my black sand is within the ranges of very fine to about 1mm. My axolotl poops alot of those black sand. Should I remove the black sand since it might cause organ failure in the long run or it is okay to keep since it is being pooped out?

you will probably find that your axolotl is also ingesting white sand as well but isn't as noticeable, due to how axolotls eat some sand/substrate will be ingested but is normally fine and passes through unless the axolotl is too small ie.. less than 5 inches in which case sand can become impacted internally and cause issues, or if the sand is very coarse it can become too abrasive causing internal bleeding and irritation.
