I have an albino axolotl that I have raised since a baby. He is now about 8 inches long. Recently he has not been able to keep food down. He still eats aggressively, but an hour later, the food will be on the bottom of the tank. I don't think he is impacted because I keep him in a bare bottom tank with minimal decorations. He has a black spot on his side, just behind his front leg, that seemed to start when this started, and seems to be getting bigger. He acts normal, but is losing weight now. Well established tank and filter, 64 degrees, and he eats shrimp and worms mostly. Any ideas what is happening, or what to do going forward?

is there any chance that you can post a photo.
if it is a malignant growth then he will need to see a vet to confirm.
also post water parameters incase it is just issues with spiking.
