I posted a while back about a sick axolotl. He recovered just fine but recently he's started developing black spots all over him, more keep appearing by the day. The temp is about 22 but I make sure the waters perfect after last time.

I'd appreciate any suggestions, I recently posted about an axolotl not eating and didnt get any replies. She passed away last week and I really don't want to lose another.

Looks like normal leucistic markings - freckles come and go on the head and spine.

If you can get your temp down with a fan it would be good.

Have you tested the water parameters (ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, pH)? and what are you feeding them?
The axie in the picture looks a bit thin and the gills don't look good.

Here's the old thread that explains his gills

He's always looked thin, I feed him 1-2 earthworms a day, the others get 1 every other day. The parameters are fine, I clean him out everyday until I can get him back in the big tank.

Thanks, I really hope that's the case. It's only happened over the last 3 days or so, so I panicked. It's spread a fair bit to his gills, (you can't really see on that picture) that's what worried me most.

Here's a picture from today. He seems fine, he hasn't acted any differently from before so I think you may be right. Thank you both for the replies
