Blackish marks on cloaca

My female is has blackish brown marks on her cloaca it also looks abit bubbly she has been funny with food an hasnt gained any weight since her last batch of eggs in november she is also hiding abit more than normal for her an seems to be scratching her gills more and more maybe every other day the other 2 males in the tank seem fine although one did have a twich for a day after i removed there sand but they are eating an seem fine

First things first.. I'd take the axolotl out of that tank if she's in with two others.
If you don't have a spare tank she can be kept in a large tub. Keep the water clean and fresh - 100% water changes each day.

I've seen similar threads to this before. One of them resulted in the axolotl having a parasitic infection. I'd be very tempted to find an exotics vet in your area and take the axolotl along. Keep a close eye on the other two!

I have read through the links
im hoping it isnt anything bad like a parasite. I have been seaching for a vet that deals with axolotls in my area for a few hours i have found 2 with in a 50 mile radious of me so i shall ring them monday and see if its possible to send them details an pics for a dignoses but im pritty sure they will want to see her i dont mind about it i just want to do the best my her and my others. Tomorrow im out getting a new lid for her 3ft tank and some almond leaves for both tanks after reading these can help there skin
i will move her in to her own tank tomorrow night once i have the lid

well she is in the fridge with a almond leave to see if this helps im at loss on what to do the exotic vets werent much help they have seen the pics an have had some experience of this its some sort of parasite but the cases they have seen have all been fatal even with treatment thye said to fridge her for a few days to see if she passes anything im at a complete loss on what to do for the best also i have noticed her belly looks funny now too any help would be great is there any anti parasite medication i can buy for her like you can get for fish that mite help rid her of the parasite

Thank you I will have a look she seems to be enjoying the fridge for now an seem settled

She seems to be happy in the fridge and has eaten a worm. Her underbelly seems to look a bit better, no diffrence with the cloaca, but I have noticed when doing the daily water change that there is white stuff that looks like skin in the water. Since this is the first time I have had to fridge any of my lotties I'm not sure if this is normal.

Update she came out of the fridge on the exotic vets advise yesterday. The marks seem to be less black an seem to have faded but not gone also her underbelly is back to normal the vet said to give her a week an offer her food every day then to fridge again for a week (is this ok to do?) the fridge did seem to do her some good an she seems to be more alert an is coming to say hi when I go near the tank so fingers crossed

So another update she has laid eggs. She has been out of the tank with the males for about a week and has had 4 days in the fridge yet she has laid about 100 but this isn't going to help her get better. I have told her off for been so silly an had strong words with my 2 males all of which are now sulking.

I'm sorry I'm not much help on the problems with parasites or fridging...
but I'm following the progress with
great interest.

I hope it all goes well & I'm sure the exotics vet is doing his best.
