Illness/Sickness: Bloated lotl hasn't eaten for 3 weeks and poops weird stuff

Thanks again for your response! I put Mr. Pink (the leucistic one) in the fridge yesterday. He's still floating, so I'm gonna look up information on how to massage his belly. As soon as he swims upright again I will start a second treatment with Flagellex. If this has no effect I'll try treating them with Dactycid.

Thanks very much for the link. I'll call the vets in Roosendaal and Tilburg (thay are about half an hour away) and see what they say.

I really appreciate your help! Yesterday I was was pretty sure I'd have to euthanize them, but you gave me some new hope. I only just noticed you're from the Netherlands too, what a coincidence

Aww thanks. And very welcome. I really hope this works out for you and your axies. :D

And yep, another Dutchie :D

I've also had my axolotls (3) for about a year now, and I am experiencing the same problems. It is also happening to my leucistic axolotl, named Axie, who used to swim around happily and steal all the spotlight from her tankmates but now she sits in a dark corner in a flower pot or under some plants. :( She has also stopped using her back legs and eating, what ever happened to your axies? did they make it out okay? could you suggest any anti-parasites that are available in Australia?
Im sorry that you had to go through such a process, its the worst feeling, I know :(
