Illness/Sickness: Bloated Newt! Help!!

One of my newts got a obviously bigger belly . At first I thought that was just because it ate too much，but later I found that after pooping, its belly was still in a huge size. And this status lasts till now(about several months).I don't think it is giving birth to a baby because it seems like a boy and it seems that no one can bear a baby for such a long time! I thought he might be bloated. It has a healthy appetite. and its belly feels soft. Its friends are healthy.
Is It healthy or not? What can I do for it? All answers will be appreciate! Thx a lot!!
