Hi all.

I have had my axolotl for nearly a year after rescuing him. He has always had same diet of earthworms but think he may be constipated as he is really bloated!! I have had him in the fridge for five days, but so far no movement on his part. Is there anything else I can do as he hasn't eaten for approximately 9 or 10 days and I'm getting worried now. :(

Bloating can be a sign of a serious illness, such as heart failure. A trip to the vet would be the best course of action.

I second that......no amount of fridging will help with kidney or heart problems causing the bloat.
