Hi Guys,

I have an axolotl who is developing a blood blister between it's eye and mouth. The axolotl doesn't look like it's in any pain or is acting any differently, but I'm just concerned as the blister seems to be getting bigger. One possible cause was that I fridged it about 2 months ago, and the fridge was turned down a little too much. It was sick for a couple of weeks, but seems fine now.
Any one have any ideas?

Regards,

Scott

Is it still growing? Any other changes?

I am thinking it probably isn't due to the fridging, but I'm not an expert. If it isn't getting worse and your axie seems normal, then just wait and see. If it is getting worse, a vet may be able to give a good diagnosis.
