Last Wednesday I received my Crocodile Newt from backwater reptiles; I was expecting the T. shanjing but I was completely surprised when I got Tylototriton cf. kweichowensis! I was shocked to see how huge she is after coming out of the plastic bowl
! I've had a hard time trying to find what she eats (turns out she really likes nightcrawlers but they're pretty hard to find) I've stuck with Canadian nightcrawlers cause they're easier to find from the local bait shop (feel kinda bad chopping bits off from Mr. Worm). The other thing I'm kinda having a problem with is finding the right setup for her. I started with 50/50 when I first got her, but it turns out she wasn't too fond of it. I now have her in an 80/20 setup with more land than water. I know there isn't too much info about cf. kweichowensis but any info would help out immensely; she's really cool and I'm very blessed to have her as my new pet after many years of not having newts. Here are a few pictures of her and her home.
