I'm a very concerned axolotl mom! When I came home this weekend I noticed that my brown axle attacked my white one (again.. the first injury had healed and was fine they were separated and I reintroduced them and all seemed to be fine until this weekend). His front arm seems to be broken the toes are facing the wrong way and kinda just dangles there. I'm not sure what to do to help him. They are separated and I'm going to clean the tank. Should I fridge him? Should I leave the foot? Should I possibly have it removed so a new one can grow in? I would just love to know what some other axle parents would do.

Oh, poor thing! Well, to ensure that a new fully usable leg and foot grow, the dangling broken limb should possibly be removed.
Some people may advise to leave it to let it heal as is.
I recommend bringing the axolotl to a vet experienced with herps.
Don't fridge or salt bath. Just separate the axie and provide as many familiar, comforting things as possible. Same food, impeccable water quality, low stress.
Good luck!

here is a picture of his foot
