Broken jaw bone

My newt has been losing the skin off the end of his mouth for the past 2 weeks. while I was cleaning the wound the other day i noticed that I could see his jaw bone and it was broken. Does anybody know if there is anything I can do to help him? Do I need to euthanize him or is it possible for him to recover. Please help, I have no idea what to do.

Ouch, that's awful! I would say either seek veterinary help, or wait and see if it pulls through, but it doesn't look good.

My caudo had the same thing. It's healed now, but he still has some peeling skin around his nose.

That looks really horrible.

Go to the vet. The swelling around the lips may also be a secondary bacteria infection. Your little guys looks like in a lot of pain. It may need some rounds of internal medication in addition to cleaning the wound.
