Hi everyone, just thought I should end this rather lenghty thread.
Unfortunitly it's with sad news that I have to do so. Poncho succumbed to her injuries. I only wish I had a chance to place her back in the tank earlier but with the heat wave we have had in Victoria I decided that it wasn't for the best, maybe I was wrong. She died, as I suspect she was born, with a big smile on her face.
I would like to thank everyone of you who offered advice, I am very proud to be a member of this great site and have great admiration for the work you do.
Rest In Peace Poncho

"Shut softly your watery eyes,
The pangs of your sadness will pass,
as your senses will rise.
Like the flowers of the city,
though breathlike, get deathlike at times.
And there is no use in trying,
to deal with the dying,
though I cannot explain that in lines."
