Broken leg?

So I brought home my new axie today. He was in a tank with a lot of other juries so some of his toes are missing or look almost glued together. He will move his back left leg, but often just let's it dangle or holds it back. Is this something hat would heal or can it make him sick?

Here are a few pics to show the toes/leg.... kinda hard to get good ones. The left front toes look a bit stuck together too.
