Bruised axie

Hey all, I've noticed Etrigan has some redness around her mouth that is irritating her so much so that she has not eaten in a few days (3). Just wondered if these are just bruises or something more serious and how i can help her.

Sorry to hear that your axolotl is unwell. Unfortunately I've not seen anything like this before, and I hope that one of the more experienced keepers will be along soon to offer some advice.

For some reason I am unable to open the photo's, but from your description I suspect this may be stomatitis. This is a mouth infection that will need antibiotic treatment from a vet.
