Hello,
I recently purchased a baby Helmeted Water Toad, I’ve been looking through various forums and I’ve contacted the breeder directly and I have a fair idea of what the care requires. But, I still have a question regarding their care, that being brumation. I’ve read that their care is similar to the Budgett’s Frog but, those frogs go through a period of aestivation.
I was wondering if the Helmeted Water Toad goes through a period of aestivation or brumation? The breeder said that they doubt but I’d love to hear what others think; Thanks!
