Does anybody notice their cyanurus spending any/much amount of time on land? Mine have been wholly aquatic for all the months I've had them, until I noticed one climbing onto land today:

Hi Tim,

mine also nearly whole time aquatic since some years. Sometimes they go on land for some days or so. Last weekend my female was on land for two days, slipped of here skin and back to water now.

Was she on a nudist beach?

My animals are fully aquatic as well. Sometimes, they rest on plants or rocks with perhaps 75% of their body out of the water, but that's about it.

Hmmmm, that reconfirms my suspicions. But then again the same could be said for C. orientalis and to a lesser extent C. pyrrhogaster, though C. ensicauda spend some time on land.

The cyanureus at work very rarely come out of the water and then typically for less than a day.
