Well, I finally was able to borrow a camera to take these shots today. So, I have 7(juvies?) all in great health. I wish I had some more detail on this camera so I could get some better color but some are definitely showing a little blue and some swollen cloacas. These are from eggs late last November.

And to think they came from:

Looking good, Garrison. Seems the belly colors vary, orange to yellow despite the same food, eh?

Here's a couple of mine: Both males were fed exactly the same foods, yet show a drastic difference in belly coloration.

Lovely animals, all. Mine are the same age and size as Garrison's. They look very similar to his. I am trying to imagine that one of them has a larger cloaca, but I'm still not sure if I'm seeing a real difference or not.

Thanks guys, I wouldn't even be having this great caudate experience if it weren't for this site!!!

Rene, these individuals are almost a year old from egg and I don't quite think they're mature yet.

Nice animals guys!

Nice going, Garrison!

(sorry, didn't notice this thread's existence until now...)

Any more photos of the larvae when they were in a more advanced stage?

Nate, that light/dark vent contrast is really impressive! Belly shots please when you get a chance
