So I decided to check on Theo's hides for hidden gems (read: ****), and I didn't want to disturb the whole tank by lifting up the hides. Shining a light into them should be enough. Instead of using a flashlight or penlight, as it might be too glaring for my Axie's eyes, I decided on using this laser pointer with the red light.

More out of curiosity than anything else, I decided to shine the light onto Theo himself to see if he could discern it. Don't worry, I didn't shine it directly on his eyes, just in case. I shone it on his torso and under his chin. He seemed absolutely oblivious to it though. What do you think?

(Also, he looked amazing in red light.)
