Question: Can I have 2 bubblers?

So I've heard that if you have 2 bubblers your axies' gill hair things will get larger, my 2 axolotls are in a 144 liters aquarium (it's actually a 244 liters, 120cmx50cmx40cm but it isn't filled all the way up as my axies are like 15 cm) with 1 bubbler, will it hurt them to have 2 bubblers?

I have two bubblers in a few of my tanks, only because when I take one temporary tank apart I"m too lazy to put it all away and I'll stick the bubbler in another tank until I need another bubbler. These tanks are 40 gallons and everyone is fine with that.
