Can my newts live in a terrerium?

I'm a new owner of two chinese dwarf newts, and I really like the idea of a terrarium but would my newts like that, or do they have to live in the water? Also if you have any food suggestions that would be great too. thx

Thanks John....that site was the most informative I have read yet, it'll be a great help!! My 13 yr old bought these newts but I seem to be having to take care of them lol...that's not unusual. I didn't realize that they are so sensitive to their surroundings. They are so cute and now that I have a tank I can work on giving them a good home. Thx, Dynasty
