I'm a new axolotl mom, and this is my first and only baby. I'm worried about the size of it's cloaca. I could just be over paranoid and own a male, but I'm worried that it might be irritated, I have a sand tank.

Like... Wow. Thems some big testes. I want to say that my first instinct is that those aren't right. But if he's acting okay, I wouldn't worry about it very much. But that's just my general critter knowledge, not axolotl specific.
