What dose C A U Data Mean?
 
Caudata is latin and means "tailed." Caudata is also the order of Amphibia that consists of the newts and salamanders.

So to us here, caudata is the scientific name for the group of animals, the newts and salamanders, that we are interested in.
 
It says it on the caudata.org home page when you're not logged in. You have me worried now - maybe people think I run a computer firm or something...

    Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
