Question just recently i have picked up a one horse powered chiller for $300 it was used on a few coral tanks. How do i flush out the chiller so i can use it on our brand new 6 foot by 2 foot by 300 high axie tank ?. Any advice would be greatly appreciated

I would set it up and let it run, pushing water through. Your axies are going to love the chiller. Their smiles will be bigger now

Set it up to chill a ten gallon tank for a hour. Then dump the water.

I wouldn't worry to much about flushing the salt. Axies like a little salt in their water.

Thanks guys for the advice i was just a little worried seeing the chiller was used on coral tanks. And yes I'd say there's going to be smiles all round with the adults and the 300+ babies, thank god it"s big enough to chill the 6 foot tank n the smaller 4 foot running a complete natural filter system developed by some one called Mr K Mackay,

Well the chiller is set up and running fine but heap loads of condensation on the tank a little annoying (cnt see axies unless looking down into the tank). I cant get pics atm but should have some soon as i hijack the camera back from the daughter lol

One with the tank sitting on the floor while my uncle and i build a stand out of a old lounge then the other after we finished the stand lol. Sorry but i cant get a good side on shot of the tank phone camera n cant fit it in
