Chilling your aquarium?

How angled do you have the fan? She's suddenly got her gills flared forward and a curve in her tail even though I didn't think it was creating much more movement than my previous fan (just better dispersed). I'm now at a conundrum...let her tank be too warm or let her get stress from the current :/

I got a mini-fridge, a water pump and about 200 feet of tubing. I drilled holes in the side of the fridge and coiled the hose around some pvc pipes. I then sealed the tubing in with pray foam insulation. Keeps my 75 gallon 5 deg Fahrenheit cooler.
