My axies have missing pices from thier tails.

My wild type has aprox. a 10c piece missing out of its tail and my albino has a gash

help please

How often are you feeding them and how much? Is there anything in their tank that could have cut/gashed their tails on? Otherwise I would say they may have bitten each other (mistaken food going by if they're hungry - they're nearsighted).

If this is the case just keep an eye on them to ensure no infection or fungus develops, possibly feed them a bit more regularly if you're only feeding twice a week and clean up any uneaten or regurgitated food within a few hours, if any.

Tails will rejuvenate over several weeks or months, dependant on size/age of axie (younger ones rejuvenate faster than older axies) just may not be the perfect tail it originally came with :D
