Hey quick question about my T. shanjing.
It seems to be turning from orange and black to just black? There does not seem to be any inconsistency between its skin and my other T. shanjing critters, just turning black especially on its back. Is this normal or does this indicate inadequate diet/nutrition or onset of disease and infection?
Anyone experience the same thing?
Thanks

What is the age of the critter in question? It may be just maturing, or on the other end, aging...I've never heard of an illness that would cause the skin to darken. I may be wrong, but i think it is probably just a genetic variation or something like that. Keep us posted, and also try to show a pic. A pic can really help to determine what is going on. Best of luck!

Thanks jbherpin,
Yeah I'm not to sure about the age. I got them from a pet shop and I don't think the lady knew what to do with them so i think they are wild caught animals. I have four total and I would guess they are later in life then earlier. But the color change form orange and black to black happened quick, at least the last week. None of the other three seem to be changing. I'll try to get a picture up A.S.A.P. and Ill keep an eye on the others for changes.
Thanks
