Condensation?

Set up my new chiller and things are going great except the tank is covered in condensation since it's very humid in my area right now.

Anyone experience this problem? Is there a way to fix it?

It's not a deal breaker. Right now I just wipe the tank to see in and feed and have a towel under the filter since the canister is condensation covered too.

It's just the humidity in your house; same thing would happen to a cold drink. Air conditioning or a dehumidifier would reduce it (in the same way that the tank is). Of course, if you are using a mesh lid, the tank itself is making it worse.

Yeah I figured as much! The good news is that it will go away eventually as the weather changes. I don't mind wiping it off during the day to feed.

My tank is 1/3 covered, in order to prevent splashing on my walls from the sponge filter and I have an open top 10g, so I'm sure the tanks play a part.

As long as my babies are cool and happy I can deal!
