Consipated?

I wentaway for a few days and left my axi without food for four days. I came back and he was fine and quite happily scoffed a prawn. However I cleaned his tank out the other day about 5-6 days after this and it hadn't been properly cleaned for over a week because of me being away and I found very litttle poo. Is it jsut that he is using it all up (the water is quite warm at the moment) or is there something to be worried about?

i wouldnt worry too much i have 3 large adults whoe eat most days and some times i only find 1 bit in a week
it seems too depend what mine are eating
prawns seem to produce very little waste where as heart gives quite a bit
this is my experiance anyhow

Funny you should say that I was away last week ( mon to Friday) and expected to find pooh all over the place, but no not a sign. I was wondering if it had just broken up and was merrily floating around the tank ( yuck!). I have been doing 20-30% water changes just in case..and the ammonia, nitrate, nitrite readings have been suprisingly good..i.e perfect

Poo can break up quite readily, into poo dust of sorts! Can be quite irritating when you try and suck some up with a turkey baster and it starts to disintegrate and fly back down the baster.
