Constipation Warning and Watch Out

An adult axie that is well fed typically poops about once a week if not max about every other week. We all have busy lives and may not alway pay attention. I recommend keeping a poop calendar. I have these little horizontal calendar strips by my Axies. There are circles in the calendar. Friends ask what it is tracking and yeah I track axie poop. An axie can be in a life threatening situation if it has not pooped in a month.

I am sure you can use an app instead too. But what is good is if your axie hasn't pooped past two weeks you know you need be concerned and may need to take some action. Hope that tidbit helps.

Great idea. Will come in useful for keeping track of defecation, and will help to give a general idea of what's "usual" for each individual axolotl.
