I have a question about cooling T. shanjing in order to prepare them for breeding. First, is it appropriate to cool them to the low 60s for a week and then into the low to mid 50s for five weeks?

Also, what should the feeding regimen be for this time period? Should they fast before cooling? Should food be offered at all during this time?

Thanks,
Andrew

Hi Andrew,
Cooling them to the low sixties should be sufficent to cycle them for breeding. (I've done it this way). A good rule of thumb in to try and not cool more than 1 degree a day to prevent too big a drop in temps.
