Cucumber

Hi guys!
This may sound like a very weird suggestion/question, but has anyone ever tried axies on cucumber or know if it's any good for them? I know they're supposed to be strictly carnivorous, but hey goldfish and plecos love it (still testing on my paradise+cory's!!)
Just wondered as thought it would make an interesting change and treat once in a while, but maybe it has toxins or something they can't digest?
Any help?
Leanne

Goldfish and plecos are largely herbivores; there is no reason to expect that their food would be good for an axolotl. It is likely to be indigestable, and thus the pieces would either just pass through, or could cause problems along the way.

I wouldn't recommend it. My axie used to eat my plecos veggie pellets, when I had them in the same tank together. As a result my axie got lots of toxic gas in her tummy, and would float with her tail and bum in the air. Not good.

Ok cool. Thanks for your replies guys.
"Hermes....Athena....sorry no cucumber!!"
Hehe!
Thanks again,
Leanne
