Culturing bloodworms and blackworms together?

I've been reading up on raising live foods for my axolotls. from what ive read, the conditions these worms need are slightly similar. I'm thinking about setting up one tank to culture aquatic worms in. would this work?

The bloodworms will morph into midges in a couple of weeks.

Black worms are easy to raise, a little burlap or brown paper sack some old tank water and there you go. Brown cardboard is good but hard to retrieve your worms from. Make sure you do water changes because it stinks.
