Hello,
I have two axolotls residing in a 150ish-L tank which they've been in for over a year now. There've been some ups and downs in their health, but lately they both seem to have been really healthy. Although, just over the past day or so I've noticed that both of their tails generally seem to be curled, and I don't know what the cause of it would be. :/ I've heard this is generally due to heat stress, but my tank seems to have kept a fairly cool and consistent temperature. I have an aquarium fan set up to constantly keep the tank cool, and considering it's been a bit hot lately in Brisbane, Australia, I've also been adding an ice bottle every day or so. Overall, the temperature doesn't seem to have risen above 22 degrees C - it's generally about 21.
If there's anyone who can offer some advice, that'd be appreciated.
Thanks.
