Dead Worms :(

This may seem like a stupid question but can you feed an axolotl dead worms? ( I assume you can't )

My boyfriend decided to put the worms I had in the fridge and they all died within 2 days. -.-

If they are indeed dead, they should be stinking so much that should give you your answer about whether to use them as food (no). But earthworms can survive all winter in the fridge. You're sure they are dead? throw them out then.

Some worms do fine at refrigerated temperatures. Other worms will die when refrigerated. It's important to know what species of worms you have to know how to keep them.

Good to know! I brought some from our petstore that were kept in the fridge and they survived for weeks on end in the fridge at home..
