DIY Chillers

So I happened upon this video and wondered why I had never seen anyone use this idea before.

What are your thoughts/opinions? And have you guys ever made DIY chillers that worked well for the same price? All feedback is welcome :3

Funny, I was actually just searching how to make heaters and chillers this morning.

Sounds like a good idea to me, but I don't really need a chiller, it doesn't get that hot here.

I tried to fix it! I don't know how ;__;

I was thinking about it for if I had any tanks in garages. Washington stays pretty cool luckily, but there can be some pretty hot days. Figured it was just good info to have, plus you could disguise that really well!

I made one for my lotl tank, mine was made from a small peltier chiller and just plopped down in the output of my HOB filter
its a 20 gallon long and keeps the tank at a steady 65F
