Do your Notophthalmus Viridescens have 'phases'?

I noticed that my Noto's have 'phases' about their food choices. When I first got them, they only liked earthworms. The next couple months after that, it was blackworms. The next couple months after that, it was frozen bloodworms. They are currently in their frozen brine shrimp phase. When they have their 'phases' they only accept that specific type of food. This hasn't necessarily been a problem, I was just wondering if anybody else has noticed this.

Pretty sure this is common throughout all species. Ever tried to feed a toddler squash? lol.
