Dock or ramp for 2.5 gallon tank

Hello, I have a 2.5 gallon tank for my fire belly newt. Since it is a small tank, I want to maximize the water space by having something that floats up in the water, however ive been to tons of pets stores,and yet no sucess finding anything for it. Do you know what I can fit in it or what I should do for it ? Also can I build something for it? If so what? I was thinking since foam works maybe I could use that but the material is rather ruff and wouldnt be good for froogles skin so i left that option out so far. Any help would be really appreciated ! Thanks

if u could find the smallest turtle dock that is on the market that might work, but im not sure how big it is, other wise you can use cork bark

You could use clay pots with clay bottoms on top. There are lots of great tank ideas on this forum and on caudata culture.
