Hello everyone. I found a gel like bunch of eggs and I assumed they were either from a salamander or a newt. They were in my plant pot. I live in California and live within a few feet from a stream. 73C60EAB-7019-46BA-9854-2B8A869BCEE8.jpg
 
My guess is it's from an apple snail.
 
Can you get a close up photo please? How big is it? Do you think it’s orgsnic? Intriguing.
My first thoughts were slug eggs or maybe even that water retaining gel they put in growing media.

    Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
