Does anyone know why my axie is stippled

I have just noticed today that one of my babies has little spikes sticking out from his torso,
does anyone know why or if its a problem?

I've never seen this before. Maybe it is a parasite or infection from someting in the tank or something he ate?

It is probably something akin to a human mole or something. My guess is that the skin in that area was slightly damaged, and new skin regenerated, causing a lump. But spikes are cool. Your axolotl's punk rock.

I think you have nothing to worry about. It looks harmless. I also think it just got its name. LOL Spike

Strangly enough although it doesnt look like it here i think it turned into a fungus, and all my axolotls had it that were in seperate tanks. I did a salt bath and the bits went down a lot instantly so ill see how they are in the morning and maybe do another, Thanks Everyone xx
